Great Britain Rarities Index

Launched in 2004 and backdated to 1998, the GB30 Rarities Index is a collection of the top 30 classic GB stamps that we would recommend for investment.

The index has a shown consistently strong growth for over 40 years (11% compound, year on year) and has outperformed most traditional assets including UK house prices, silver, gold and the FTSE Tri.

As a telling snapshot of its strength, the GB30 index increased by 38.6% in 2008, while the global economy crumbled. The best performing stamp increased by 93.5% and the worst performer in the index still went up by 8.6%.

And remember, that’s amidst a global credit crunch and a backdrop of world economic gloom.
