We flew into Mumbai airport last night.
There are 15 million people in this Indian city and I'm sure most of them were on our motorway. The traffic was horrendous. At one point we even stopped for a cow that was sitting in the middle of the road.
It's a wonderful city and there is serious money being spent on a much needed infrastructure. The airport is being revamped, a new expressway being built to the airport, 5 star hotels everywhere.
It's a city that reflects the buoyancy of the Indian economy.

We're here for a meeting with India's biggest book distributor. He imports and distributes all the household titles...Vogue, Elle, The Economist, Newsweek and 600 other famous magazines and newspapers.
He was eager to meet us. It seems there is a growing interest in our world famous catalogues and reference books.
With a population of over 1.1 billion there are a large number of stamp collectors in India.

But the most staggering aspect was the prices achieved. Our auction estimates were blown out of the water. The auction sold for an incredible 85% more than the original estimates. Since that auction we have been prudently building up our stockholding.
