We've got a bit of good news for you amongst all the doom and gloom.
There's a specific market that is over-performing.
And better than that, we believe we can get you in at ground level prices.
When that happens it's time to sit up and take notice.
Here's the story...
Four letters written by Princess Diana to her former nanny sold for a total of £21,000 ($39,900) at auction yesterday.
The highest single price was £9,200 ($17,480) for a note written by a 17 year old Diana claiming that she danced ‘like an elephant'.
Another letter, written 6 months after her wedding to Prince Charles sold for £8,000 ($15,200), four times more than expected.
Why is this good news?
Well in September 2008 the British newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, reported that a piece of wedding cake from Charles & Diana's wedding sold for over £1,200 ($2,280), including auction fees.
"Items depicting Diana, Princess of Wales, are still popular more than 10 years after her death" said the Telegraph article.
That's the key. Diana is still hugely popular, and sought after, 10 years after her death.
We always thought this would be the case. We've long been buyers, rather than sellers, in this particular market.
After all, her fairytale wedding in 1981 attracted a global television audience of over 750million.
Diana was also a supporter of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, a campaign that went on to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997.
From the time of her engagement in 1981 to her death in 1997 Diana was the most famous woman in the world. She was also considered the world's most photographed woman.
She has been voted the top style icon of the last 50 years.
And recently she beat off famous names including Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley in a survey to find the person most people would like to resurrect for 5 minutes.
Naturally that popularity is now reflected in the prices her autographs, letters, and even wedding cake, are achieving at auctions around the world.
Luckily we had the foresight to predict this, and have slowly been building one of the world's largest Princess Diana collections.
We've diligently been buying what we consider to be the finest grade items, at the right price.
And now those prices are looking distinctly undervalued.

One thing is for sure; with auction prices on the rise we won't be able to hold our prices this low for much longer.
That's why now is probably the last chance to get involved at this level.
We have a piece of Diana's wedding cake available for £1,500 ($2,850).
But for our price you also receive a piece of the wedding cake from Princess Anne's wedding to Captain Mark Phillips. You also get ceremonial programmes for both weddings.
Another item is a handwritten note, signed by Diana, for just £3,250 ($6,175). Remember, signed letters are going in auction for up to £9,000 ($17,100) each.
We also have various signed Christmas cards from £3,250 ($6,175).
And the ultimate. A signed photo, with prices from £7,500 ($14,250).

All items are sold with a famed Fraser's Guarantee of Authenticity so you can be happy in the knowledge that the items are all originals and the autographed items have all been handled by Princess Diana.
As I say; with auction prices on the increase it's unlikely we'll be able to hold these prices for long.
