Give Yourself the Red Carpet Treatment

Dear Reader,

Hi, my name is Melanie and I am PA to Mike Hall (our Chief Executive). He suggested that since I seemed so interested in our autographs that I should share my thoughts with our valued readers.

I watch the Oscars every year and will be glued to the TV this Sunday.

The Oscars, dubbed the biggest movie event of the year, are an important event to autograph collectors. This year will be the 81st Academy Awards and it's all taking place on Sunday 22nd February.

But let's face it, it's not just about the movies.

It is also one of the biggest fashion events of the year.

Who wouldn't want a night out "glammed up" in the latest designer dress! Count me in.

Maybe Your Last Chance to Buy These Hot Signatures

A lot of money can be made when "Academy Award winner" or "Oscar-nominated" is attached to a trailer or printed on a DVD package. Not only does it boost the sales of the movie itself, but it also has a huge impact on the career of the actor nominated.

Popularity spirals when personalities win an award or even just nominated for an Award.

Some autograph collectors look to build a collection of just Oscar Winners. So now is the time to get these red-hot signatures before demand gets the better of you.

This is your one chance to get your hands on a signature that you know will be in hot demand next week.

And the Oscar goes to...

Let's take a look at some of this year's nominees and what we have to offer you. Let's start with my personal favourite.

Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt just goes from strength to strength.

Not only does he have the handsome good looks and a body to die for, he is also exceptionally talented and most of his movies can rouse even the most subdued partygoer into stimulating conversation.

Brad Pitt's first leading role in a major film was in "Interview with a Vampire" where he starred opposite Tom Cruise. He also starred opposite Anthony Hopkins in "Legends of the Fall", and opposite George Clooney, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts in the "Ocean's series".

His private life is always at the forefront of media attention especially his controversial relationship with Angelina Jolie. They hit the spotlight when they first announced they were a couple after meeting on the set of "Mr & Mrs Smith". In January 2006, they announced they were expecting their first child, Shiloh Nouvel and in July 2008 Jolie gave birth to their twins Knox and Vivienne.

Brad Pitt - nominated for Actor in a Leading Role for his role in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button".

Brad Pitt is a favourite to win this year. With his popularity already at its peak, we expect to sell out fast.
