This is one of those once in a decade opportunities to own a unique item. It is the most important stamp error of the 20th century. Items like this don’t come up often… especially in what is the hottest part of the GB stamp market right now. I have always said if you want to beat general market returns in rare stamps, you need to focus on the unique items.

In my opinion, the Apollo programme stands as mankind’s greatest technological achievement. I am not alone in holding this view and memorabilia surrounding the space programme, and in particular Apollo 11, regularly achieve astonishing results at auction. My top tip today is, without a doubt, something that commemorates one of the most important moments in history.
